The Plant based proteins are not only alternative. Also some animal proteins like insects are rising. In Finland the public interest for insects as human food is notable: Up to 42% Finnish population is willing to test insects as food. (Tekniikan Maailma 23/12.12.2017).
Netherlands has long been front runners in producing producing and selling insects. Both countries have legalised the selling of insects for food in 2017, other European countries will follow.
